The Reduced to Rubble quest takes place in the Blue Gate area of the map. It involves two main objectives, broken down into four quest stages. You don't need to complete everything in one raid session, and there's no need to bring any special equipment or extract with ARC Raiders Items-just focus on ARC Raiders Coins exploration and survival.

However, be warned: the trek will take you through Olive Grove, a dangerous and highly contested region. Many players farm this area for valuable resources like lemons, apricots, and olives, so expect to encounter other raiders while completing the objectives. To reduce the risk of losing valuable gear, it's best to enter with a free or lightweight loadout-you won't need heavy weapons or rare items to get the job done.

Objective 1: Photograph the Collapsed Highway

Your first goal is to photograph the collapsed highway located on the west side of the Highway Collapse area.

When you approach the site, move slightly north of the Highway Collapse map marker. You'll find the interaction point between a tree and a large rock, right where the highway visibly crumbles into the ground.

You don't need a camera item-just walk up to the correct spot, and you'll see a prompt to "Take Photo." Once you interact with this, your first objective will be completed automatically.

Tips:

The area is relatively open, so you might want to crouch or move carefully to avoid being spotted by other players.

Enemies aren't heavy here, but nearby raiders can ambush you while you're distracted by the photo interaction.

After snapping the photo, your next destination will be marked: the Broken Earth point of interest.

Objective 2: Follow the Trail of Destruction

Once you've photographed the highway, head east toward Broken Earth. This region is much larger and more confusing than the previous one. The quest will ask you to "Follow the trail of destruction through the Broken Earth," but the game doesn't make it clear where this trail actually leads.

To save yourself the confusion, here's where you should go:

From the center of Broken Earth, move northeast toward a rocky hillside.

About halfway between Broken Earth and Ridgeline, directly east of Maintenance Bunker, you'll see a large scrap metal ring.

This is your next landmark and the point where the "trail of destruction" continues.

You'll notice the terrain becomes more uneven and scattered with metallic debris and broken ARC structures as you move closer to the target area. Keep climbing the hill until you reach the top, where you'll find an old ARC machine sitting in the grass.

Objective 3: Investigate the Unknown ARC Machine

Once you've reached the large metallic structure, interact with it to "Investigate." Doing so will automatically complete the Reduced to Rubble quest objectives.

You don't need to extract successfully for the quest to count-just completing the investigation is enough. However, if you want to hold onto any valuable loot you picked up on your journey, you can head to a nearby extraction point after finishing the interaction.

The closest extraction points from the Broken Earth area are usually the Maintenance Bunker lift to the west or the Ridgeline elevator to the north. Choose whichever seems safest based on player activity in your session.

Recommended Loadout & Strategy

While Reduced to Rubble doesn't require any specific gear, here are a few tips to make things easier:

Go Light: Since you're not collecting or extracting any key ARCR Items, there's no need to risk expensive equipment.

Equip Mobility Augments: Anything that increases your movement speed or stamina regeneration will help you navigate the hilly terrain faster.

Bring Mid-Range Weapons: The Olive Grove area often sees medium-distance skirmishes between players. Having a reliable assault rifle or marksman rifle gives you flexibility if you get ambushed.

Avoid Trios: Solo runs are generally calmer. Most players are just farming resources and won't engage unless provoked, but teams tend to be far more aggressive.

Final Thoughts

The Reduced to Rubble quest in Arc Raiders can feel needlessly vague at first, especially when the objectives mention photography and destruction without giving you exact coordinates. But once you know where to go-the Collapsed Highway for your first interaction and the ARC machine northeast of Broken Earth for your final one-the mission becomes quick and simple to finish.

Despite being one of the more misleading quest descriptions in the game, it's a nice change of pace from the usual fetch or combat-heavy objectives. Just remember to tread carefully through Olive Grove, stay alert for other scavengers, and keep an eye out for extraction routes if you want to leave with your loot intact.

Once you've completed Reduced to Rubble, you can safely move on to more advanced missions in Blue Gate, knowing you've survived one of the trickier exploration quests in Arc Raiders.

In Arc Raiders, the Dam Battlegrounds are home to some of the game's most intense firefights, challenging enemies, and high-value missions. Among the many tasks you'll encounter there, one from Tian Wen stands out - The Major's Footlocker. This quest sends you to locate Major Aiva's Mementos, an important item hidden somewhere within the sprawling apartment blocks of the Ruby Residence.

On the surface, this mission seems simple enough: find the mementos and extract them. But anyone who's spent time topside knows that in Arc Raiders, "simple" can turn deadly fast. With hostile ARC machines and rival players roaming the area, knowing exactly where to go - and how to get out alive - can make all the difference. This guide breaks down everything you need to know to complete The Major's Footlocker quest efficiently and safely.

Understanding The Major's Footlocker Quest

After speaking with Tian Wen in Speranza, you'll receive the objective to buy ARC Raiders Coins locate Major Aiva's Mementos in the Dam Battlegrounds. The Dam is one of the more dangerous zones in the game, packed with enemy patrols, ambush points, and limited cover. The quest's key challenge isn't just finding the item - it's surviving long enough to extract with it.
