During my research project, one question that kept coming to my mind was how many references should a dissertation have. At first, I was confused and thought adding more sources would automatically make my work better. But from my experience, I realized it’s not just about quantity, it’s about quality and relevance. I focused on using credible and up-to-date sources that directly supported my research. This helped me build stronger arguments and maintain clarity. Over time, I understood that the right number of references depends on the topic, level of study, and depth of research, not just a fixed number.
