When I first jumped into Battlefield 6’s Gauntlet mode, I honestly underestimated the importance of the Assault role. I’ve used the M320 to break enemies’ armor, to force them out from behind cover, and even to carve open a flank route for my squad. And that’s the beauty of the Assault class—you’re the one creating the opportunities. Engineers break structures, Support keeps everyone alive, Recon scouts, but Assault is the person who physically takes the ground.
One thing I learned the hard way is that hesitation kills. As Assault, if you don’t push forward, your entire squad gets stuck. So much of Gauntlet mode depends on tempo, and the Assault player sets that tempo. When I finally embraced that responsibility—using the ladder aggressively, breaking cover with the M320, coordinating pushes—I started seeing my team win far more often cheap Battlefield 6 Bot Lobby.
It feels great to be the tip of the spear, leading the way for your squad, and pulling off plays that shift the flow of the match.
